Supplies Needed:
2 colors of fabric
cording
Ribbon
buttons, charms or beads
Step 1:
With paper, pencil and ruler, determine the size of your stitched area
and draw a square with those dimensions on your paper. Add a box
around that box in the desired size of borders. Cut the large square
out, this will serve as the pattern for all of the large squares needed.
Step 2:
On paper make a pattern for the border strips. The length should be
the same size as one side of the square pattern you just cut out.
The width is 2 times the desired border with plus 1/4 inch. For
example, if you want a 1 inch border, you pattern will measure 2.5 inches
wide. Cut out your pattern.
Step 3:
From this point on, we will call the facing fabric of the ornament Fabric
A and the other fabric, Fabric B.
Cut 4 borders using your pattern from Fabric A.
Cut 1 square from Fabric A.
Cut 2 squares from Fabric B.

leaving a small opening for turning.

an opening for turning.
